The AWM is a Christian ministry that started in 1996 in Kigali , the capital city of Rwanda, with a vision God gave in 1992 for an end time revival movement that will reach every corner of the world, to "Prepare the Bride of
Christ for His imminent return." (Amos 4:12)
In August 1999, under the leadership of Apostle Paul
Gitwaza, the ministry opened the doors of its first Zion Temple Celebration Center in Kigali, Rwanda. Six years later, Zion Temple Church has grown to be the largest church in Rwanda with a membership of 15000. The ministry has also expanded to other parts of the world, and is now present on three continents: Africa (Rwanda, Burundi, Congo, Tanzania), Europe (Belgium, Denmark,
France, UK) and America (USA).

The Authentic Word Ministries nerve center, ZTCC – Rwanda, celebrated Christmas as other Christians all over the world.

As highlighted by the Apostle Paul Gitwaza in his preaching, even if no historian or Bible scholar can really prove the date on which the Lord Jesus was born, we cannot then omit to celebrate and remember that one special day, God wore a human body, wrapped in strips, and cried like a baby while laid in a manger. In this highly intellectual and philosophical (but also very biblical) preaching, the Apostle stressed on the fact that even if the Bible doesn’t say exactly the month in which Jesus was born, it says that He was born as a complete human being. Christians should hence concentrate on the very motive of Jesus to live His divine nature for about 33 years, and come to live among and like His beloved creatures. A holy communion was also shared by the approximately 4 000 people to have attended the service.

Nk’uko Intumwa Paul Gitwaza yabivuze mu butumwa yabwirije uwo munsi, n’ubwo nta munyamateka cyangwa umuhanga muri Bibiliya wabasha guhamya neza umunsi cyangwa italiki Yesu yavukiyeho, ntabwo byatubuza kwibuka ko umunsi umwe udasanzwe, Imana yambaye umubiri w’umuntu, maze irira nk’uruhinja.

Muri iyi nyigisho yahashwe nk’iyuzuye ubwenge n’ubushakashatsi, intumwa Gitwaza yibukije ko nubwo Bibiliya itavuga neza ukwezi Yesu yavukiyemo, ivuga ko yavutse nk’umuntu nyawe. Abakristo rero bari bakwiriye muri iyi minsi gutekereza ku cyatumye Yesu ata ubumana bwe, maze akamara imyaka 33 aba mu bo yaremye mu ishusho ye.

Kuri uwo munsi, hasangiwe igaburo ryera hagati y’abarenga 4 000 bari bitabiriye amateraniro.

Official launching of the Zion Temple Celebration Center – Nyamata, Saturday December 23, 2006

The Zion Temple Celebration Center is now officially launched in Nyamata (Bugesera, Eastern Rwanda).

The launching ceremony, chaired by Apostle Paul Gitwaza - President of the AWMI, had as its main event the pastoral anointing and ordination of the Nyamata’s ZTCC pastor, Delphin Nzamwita and his wife Clothilde Mukeshineza. This church, which had its first service on September 5, 2005, started with around 150 people, and after one year of existence, the attendance sometimes reaches 1400 people.

This is one of the very few evangelical churches in the area (Bugesera), preaching the authentic word of God. Nyamata has been quoted in many prophecies as the source of the so much expected last world spiritual revival.

Bugesera: green and blessed more than ever…

Long known as the most unfertile soil of Rwanda, land of perpetual famines and hungers, massacres and killings, Bugesera itself holds a big share in the sad history of Rwanda. None of those who knew Bugesera a few years ago would believe their eyes: its land is now green, cultivated and fertile!

Early after the 1994 genocide, when God started talking to His servants, either local or international, about His plan and unfailing love on Rwanda and Rwandans, a few but heavy prophecies were revealed about Bugesera. But then, none of those to have heard those nice words would have believed it could be realized in such a short time.

When the Lord said that He will bring the whole world to come and contemplate His glory in Rwanda, He gave a sign: “The planes bringing the world to seek me in Rwanda will land in Nyamata. When you see an international airport being built in Nyamata, know that this events are near…”. At that time, the construction of an international airport was not at all in the mind of the government, as it was the last need Rwanda was having, some months after the genocide, as there is an international airport located in the Kigali – Town peripherals.

 

 

 

 

But eleven years after that prophecy was given to different people, an international airport, said to be the first of his big size in the region, is ready to be build in Nyamata, in 2007 (the plans and other architectural preparations are already finished and approved). A highway on international standards is being constructed, connecting Nyamata to Kigali: now, the 75 minutes from Kigali to Nyamata have been brought down to around 30 minutes, and may come to 20 minutes after the completion of the highway.

One of the words said to be from God is the fact that Bugesera will be the start-up center of the so much expected last worldwide revival. That is why the Authentic Word Ministries felt lead to start an praise/worship and prayers altar in the region, through the ZTCC - Nyamata.

When you stand in Nyamata or are on the way to Kigali, a word immediately comes in mind: “I will make a road through the wilderness and give you streams of water there.” (Isaiah 43:19).

Apostle Paul Gitwaza new CD available online at www.gitwaza.com

Apostle Paul Gitwaza released his new CD album “Imirimo Yawe”  during his trip in the USA. The album contains 10 songs and each song has its deep meaning. Each song has the potential to lift up the listener to a higher level of glory.  Many people know Paul Gitwaza as an Apostle and a Preacher, but not as a Worshipper. This new CD proves that there is no contradiction between the two. According to him, a true Apostle must be a true Worshipper. To the listen to this CD, he gives this advice: “As you listen, I beseech you, calm down and let your mind settle at the foot of His Cross. Bugesera yuzuye itoto n’umugisha…

Mu mateka y’u Rwanda, agace k’u Bugesera kazwi nk’ahafite ubutaka butera, hahora amapfa n’inzara, umwiryane n’ubwicanyi. Ariko mu bari bazi Bugesera mu myaka ishize ntabwo ubu babyemera: ubu Bugesera irahingwa ikeza!

Nyuma gato y’itsembabwoko ryo muri 1994, Imana yatangiye kujya ivugisha bamwe mu bakozi bayo ku byerekeranye n’urukundo ifitiye u Rwanda n’abanyarwanda; ni nako ubuhanuzi bukomeye bwavugiwe kuri Bugesera.

Ubwo Imana yavugaga ko izazana isi yose kuza gushaka ubwiza bwayo mu Rwanda, yatanze ikimeneyetso: “Indege zizazana isi ije kunshaka mu Rwanda zizajya zigwa i Nyamata. Nimubona rero ikibuga cy’indege mpuzamahanga kiri kubakwa i Nyamata, muzamenye ko ibyo navuze biri hafi gusohora…”. Icyo gihe, iyubakwa ry’ikindi kibuga cy’indege ntabwo ryari no gutekerezwaho na gato, kuko Leta y’u Rwanda yari ifite ibindi byihutirwa cyane yagombaga gukemura.

Date set for 4th “God Vision is our Destiny” International Conference

In the margin of the One Year Anniversary celebration of ZTCC – Atlanta, Apostle Paul Gitwaza met with the Leadership of Authentic Word Ministries – USA Inc. to set the vision, the organization and the date for 4th “God Vision is our Destiny” International Conference. The board agreed that this is going to be the largest conference organized in the USA . It will take place in South Bend, Indiana, USA during Memorial Week-end (May 25-27, 2007). Zion Temple Celebration Centers in Arusha , Tanzania , Brussels , Belgium , and Kigali, Rwanda will collaborate to this effort.
